Senior Coach for 2012 ... Matthew Tyrrell
The Cygnet Football Club has re-appointed former North Hobart player and TSL reserves coach, Matthew Tyrrell for the 2012 season.

While Matthew will be non-playing coach of the senior side, his role as Club Coach will see him work in a holistic and cooperative manner with both the Colts and Reserves coaching staff.
Matthew has brought a wealth of experience to his new role with the Club. Matthew is a level 2 accredited coach and his resume boasts a strong and successful background in youth coaching and development programs. He has demonstrated success during recent seasons including coaching the North Hobart Under 19’s to premierships in 2007 and 2008 and to the State Premiership in 2008 as well. Matthew has coached non-stop for the last 16 years and is passionate about football and his players.
Last season, Matthew won the respect of the Cygnet footballing community, players, officials and supporters with his professionalism and dedication to the club. He puts in many hours of his time to the betterment of the Cygnet Footbal Club .. more than his role demands, and more than many of our past coaches. Matt's strategic approach to the game should see our club prosper and grow.
The depth of our pre-season turnout and the keeness shown by our core players is testiment to the faith they have in the club's future under Matt's guidence.
Matthew will work closely with other coaching staff to develop a structured plan to identify talented players at both Mini-League, Colts and Senior level and provide them a pathway to be able to access specialist coaching to enable them to play at higher levels.
Reserves Coach ... Mark (Chopper) Bradley

Mark will probably be buried with the Kermandie flag on his coffin ... but his contribution to the spirit and camaraderie of Cygnet Football Club has been one of the pleasures of the past few years. Chopper takes on the always-difficult role of Reserves coach for 2012. His passion for the game and pure enjoyment of all club activities will ensure that those who follow him onto the playing field this year will be better for the experience. Chop's Kermandie connection will help the ongoing merging of the two footballing coimmunities.
Colts Coaches ... Dillon Davie and Jonathon Tyrrell

Jonathon (Chop) and Dillon will be hoping for a few recruiting miracles this year to be able to put a Colts side on the ground. With our Minileague teams bursting at the seams with numbers and talent to boost Cygnet's playing group in years to come, a brief hiatus is upon us. Any young guys wanting to play will be warmly welcomed. Cop and Dilsey are dedicated footballers who are willing to go the extra yards with a young team to make the coming season an enjoyable one.
